AzaSite Plus

AzaSite Plus (ISV-502) is a product candidate in the AzaSite family currently under development for the treatment of conditions such as blepharitis that involve both bacterial infection and inflammation. Blepharitis, which affects tens of millions of people worldwide, causes symptoms such as redness, irritation, and scaly skin at the edges of the eyelids. AzaSite Plus is a fixed-dose combination of an antibiotic (1.0% azithromycin) and an anti-inflammatory steroid (0.1% dexamethasone). Like AzaSite, AzaSite Plus is formulated with DuraSite® drug delivery technology.

AzaSite Xtra

AzaSite Xtra (ISV-405) is a product candidate in the AzaSite family currently under development for the treatment of ocular infection.

AzaSite Otic

AzaSite Otic (ISV-016) is a product candidate in the AzaSite family currently under development for the treatment of bacterial ear infections, including acute otitis media with tympanostomy tubes (AOMT)and acute otitis externa (AOE). Otitis media is an infection of the middle ear usually caused by an infection that spreads from a sore throat, cold, or respiratory problem. It is one of the most common childhood illnesses and can cause significant pain and discomfort. Otitis externa (also known as swimmer's ear) is the inflammation of the external auditory canal. AzaSite Otic contains the broad-spectrum antibiotic azithromycin combined with dexamethasone and is formulated with DuraSite® drug delivery technology.
